Research On The Evolution Of China's Cultural Policy Subject Based On LDA Model (1979-2017)

As a kind of spiritual power,culture is the core content of a nation's continuous line and the booster of the entire human society.As a manifestation of the cultural operation mechanism in a specific period of society,cultural policy is the basis for the state to guide cultural development and has a direct impact on cultural development.Since the reform and opening up 40 years ago,China has made remarkable achievements in the political,economic and cultural fields,and its comprehensive national strength has improved remarkably.With the gradual deepening of reform and opening up,China's cultural policy is undergoing profound changes from scratch,from imperfection to perfection.At present,cultural undertakings and cultural industries have together constitute a new pattern of China's modern public cultural service system.LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation)is a classic topic probability generation model,also known as the three-layer Bayesian model,which mainly includes three-layer structure of terms,topics and documents.As an unsupervised machine learning technology,LDA excels at identifying potential topics in large-scale document sets.This paper uses the Octopus collector to capture about 3,000 cultural policy texts from the Cultural Policy Library since China's reform and opening up(1979-2017),and combines the LDA model for text mining.A total of 15 effective themes have been obtained.Mainly use Python,R language to complete the data preprocessing and LDA model modeling and implementation,and according to the growth trend of each topic,divided into four categories: growth,attenuation,zigzag and stationary;use word cloud Digging deep into the four growth themes of "Internet","rural","market",and "enterprise",combining "life cycle theory" with the "new public management theory" and "new public" that emerged in the late 1980 s Service Theory",an empirical study of the logic of the formulation of China's cultural policy.Through statistical analysis,this paper obtains the development trend of 15 themes of cultural policy since China's reform and opening up,uses word cloud to realize the visualization of hot topic text content,and explains the evolution trend of each topic in combination with important political hotspots of key time nodes.The reasons for discussion have made up for the shortcomings of domestic scholars' previous studies on the quality and lack of quantification of cultural policies,and enriched the research methods of domestic scholars' cultural policies,providing reference and enlightenment for later researchers.
