The Study Of Acceptance On Jinghuayuan

Jinghuayuan is a novel written by Liruzhen in 1818.Acceptance theory centers on readers and studies literature from the perspective of readers.In the view of acceptance theory,literary works are only unfinished “text”,which can only be completed with the participation of readers.The participation of readers to literary text can be divided into two forms: one is reader's interpretation,criticism and study of texts;the other is reader's transformation of text into independent artistic works through continuous,imitation or adaptation.It appears that the reader's acceptance behavior of the text includes preface,inscription,criticism,illustration,continuation,and adaptation such as drama,storytelling,comic,film,and animation,which are called “acceptance forms” in this paper.This paper regards the continuation,imitation,preface and inscription of Jinghuayuan as the embodiment of the acceptance behavior of readers,so as to observe Jinghuayuan and study the acceptance process and state of Jinghuayuan about the author of these acceptance forms.The introduction describe that background,meaning,method,status,and content of the subject.Chapter one summarizes and sorts out the prefaces,inscriptions,illustrations,continuations and imitations of Jinghuayuan,as well as the general situation and study status of acceptance forms such as dramas,storytelling,comics,animations and films adapted from Jinghuayuan.Chapter two introduces the general situation of the continuations,imitation,preface and inscription of Jinghuayuan.Chapter three analyzes the artistic features and accepted content of these acceptance forms,and reflects the participation and creativity of the authors to the text as readers.Chapter four discusses the meaning of the acceptance form to the classical novels and artistic forms.The acceptance study of Jinghuayuan is an important part of the study of Jinghuayuan.
