A Study On The War Narrative Of The Battle Hegemony Between Jin And Chu In Zuo Zhuan

The narrative art of Zuo Zhuan has always been highly praised by scholars and is an artistic monument in the history of Chinese literature.The narrative art of the war chapters in the book is the main embodiment of its essence.As one of the important events in Zuo Zhuan,compete between Jin and Chu is also a typical representative of the narrative process of Zuo Zhuan.In recent years,the war narrative art of Zuo Zhuan has been deeply studied.Most of the discussions of the researchers focus on the concept of phenomena,characteristics,structure,comparison,achievement and influence,etc.At present,there is still a lack of special studies on the narrative of historical events in Zuo Zhuan.This paper attempts to establish a connection between the war narrative art of Jin-Chu struggle and the narrative art of the whole historical period recorded in Zuo Zhuan,and further explore the war narrative art.This paper consists of seven parts.The introduction outlines the acceptance and research status of the narrative of Jin-Chu hegemony in Zuo Zhuan from ancient times to present.It points out the achievements and areas to be studied in the narrative of Jin-Chu hegemony war in Zuo Zhuan from the research clues of vertical staging and horizontal partitioning,and introduces the significance,research methods and structural arrangement of this topic.In the first chapter,the three major wars broke out in Zuo Zhuan during the hegemony struggle between Jin and Chu are taken as the nodes,and the development stages of the hegemony struggle between Jin and Chu in Zuo Zhuan are analyzed and sorted out in a vertical and phased way.The development stages are divided into three periods: hegemony period,hegemony alternation period and military crossing period.The second chapter sums up the modes of communication during the Jin and Chu dynasties' struggle for hegemony in three forms: war,alliance and marriage.The above two chapters mainly divide and classify the war narrative text of Jin and Chu in Zuo Zhuan.The third chapter analyzes the text from the narrative focus adopted by Jin and Chu in the war narration of Zuo Zhuan.On the surface of the text and in the depth of thought,the author tries to grasp the narrative of the struggle for hegemony between Jin and Chu,and realize the obvious emotional color and ideological tendency of Zuoshi in the process of narration.The fourth chapter focuses on the development of the war narrative process of the struggle between Jin and Chu in Zuo Zhuan,and analyzes the use of such narrative clue techniques as time line,causal line,national line and event line in the context of the international struggle for hegemony during this period.The fifth chapter mainly analyzes the development structure and discourse structure of the narrative of the Jin and Chu states' struggle for hegemony in the biography of Zuo Zhuan,which focuses on the narrative structure of the development process of "struggle" and "harmony" between the two countries,as well as the narrative structure of the three major conflicts,so as to further understand the artistic skills of Zuo's narrative.The last part is the conclusion.
