Mathematical learning disabilities is a global problem in which vision plays a vital role in the process of mathematics learning. The transfer of attention can be divided into exogenous attention transfer and endogenous attention transfer, and the modes of these two attention transfer belong to different attention systems. At present, some studies have confirmed that the mechanism of attention transfer will affect the ability of digital processing, but the direct relationship between covert attention transfer and mathematics learning is not clear. Therefore, this study uses the cuetarget experimental paradigm to investigate the relationship between the pure transfer ability of covert attention and mathematical learning. The first experiment uses exogenous highlighting stimuli as clues to explore the differences in the ability of exogenous covert attention transfer between children with mathematical learning disabilities and those with excellent mathematics learning. The second experiment uses endogenous predictive stimuli as a clue to explore the differences in the ability of endogenous covert attention transfer between children with mathematical learning disabilities and those with excellent mathematics learning.Through the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, the writer selected 20 students in Grade Three with mathematics learning disabilities from a primary school in Hangzhou, and then selected 20 children with matching mathematics learning ability.By comparing the performance of two groups of students with covert attention, two conclusions can be drawn as follows:(1)There are defects in the covert attention transfer of children with mathematical learning disabilities.Whether it is exogenous covert attention transfer or endogenous covert attention transfer, children with mathematical learning disabilities are less able to transfer attention than children with excellent mathematics.(2)Under the condition of exogenous covert attention transfer, the return inhibition effect of children with mathematical learning disabilities is delayed compared with children with excellent mathematics learning.
