A Study On The Vocabulary Of Xianxian Dialect

Xianxian is located 70 kilometers northeast of Cangzhou City,Hebei Province.The "Chinese Language Atlas" divides the Xianxian dialect into the Huangle small piece of the northern official account.Its local dialect has a long history,complex formation and local characteristics.The vocabulary study of Xianxian dialect is based on the vocabulary of Xianxian dialect,and the field survey is conducted by using the Dialect Survey Item List as the main survey reference material,and the corpus is analyzed and described.It can be roughly divided into the following parts:The first part is the introduction.Firstly,it introduces the geography,history and population of Xianxian.Secondly,it summarizes the previous research results on Xianxian dialect.Finally,it gives a brief description of the theory and methods involved in the study,introduces the collection of corpus and the pronunciation of cooperation.The second part is the main body of the article.The first chapter describes the initial system,vowel system and tone system of Xianxian dialect.In addition,a brief description of the combination of phonology and rhyme in Xianxian dialect is given.It also sorts out the different pronunciations in the process of investigation.In the second chapter,from the point of view of word meaning research,by using the comparative method,the author compares Xianxian dialect words with Putonghua words to show the characteristics of Xianxian dialect words in terms of lexical meaning,grammatical meaning and color meaning.Chapter three summarizes and analyses the motivation of word-formation of Xianxian dialect vocabulary from the perspective of motivation.The motivation of word formation in dialect can be divided into direct motivation and indirect motivation.The direct motivation mainly includes the attribute characteristics of all aspects of things.Indirect motivation mainly includes rhetorical motivation and cultural motivation.The words created by these motivations reflect the higher pursuitof the users of dialectal areas for the transmission of language information and the appropriate expression of the speaker's emotions.Chapter four analyses the types of three-syllable words and four-syllable words in Xianxian dialect.Its three-syllable dialect has a relatively simple type of words,mainly composed of compound,overlapping and additional forms,of which the number of compound three-syllable dialect words is larger.The four-syllable words in Xianxian dialect are mainly composed of compound words,overlapping words and additional words,among which compound words are the most complex.Chapter Five summarizes and explains the life etiquette and custom words of Xianxian.This paper explores the local customs and culture by explaining the birth ceremony,marriage ceremony and funeral custom words of Xianxian.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the phenomena and characteristics of Xianxian dialect vocabulary,points out the shortcomings of this paper,and looks forward to the future study of Xianxian dialect.
