Linzhou is located at the junction of Shanxi, Hebei and Henan provinces, which belongs to Cizhang part of Hanxin part of Jin dialect, voice study of the dialect has been more mature, grammar studies have made also some progress, but the vocabulary study is lagging behind, Given the lack of Linzhou dialect vocabulary study, this paper thoroughly investigates and analyzes on Linzhou dialect vocabulary, explores the evolution of the characteristics of vocabulary, made a synchronic comparison with Shanxi Jin dialect and Mandarin, in order to more fully reveal the overall appearance of the Linzhou dialect vocabulary, and deep to show its vocabulary characteristics. The study of dialect words in Linzhou, can enrich the holistic study of Linzhou dialect, also can provide favorable references and supplement for Henan and Jin dialect.The article is divided into seven parts:Chapter Ⅰ, introduction. It mainly makes a simple description about Linzhou’s overview, present situation of dialect, purpose, meaning, materials and pronunciation partner, it also simply introduces the system of voice.Chapter Ⅱ, the word-formation and motivation of creating words in Linzhou dialect. This chapter summarizes the characteristics of Linzhou dialect vocabulary from the word-formation and motivation of creating words, in word formation, makes a more detailed analysis about the use of featured affixes in Linzhou dialect, such as the prefix "z(?)?","k(?)?","h(?)?","ku(?)?","p(?)?", the infix "li","(?)r", the suffix "ts(?)","(?)r","tou", adjective suffix and so on, in motivation of creating words, according to the attribute, rhetorical, culture have made on the analysis to the local vocabulary.Chapter III, the evolution of Linzhou dialect word meaning and reservations of ancient meaning. This chapter mainly discusses the diachronic evolution of Linzhou dialect vocabulary from the increased meanings of word, the extension and transfer of meaning range, the changes of additional meaning, describes the reservations of ancient meaning.Chapter IV, the composition of Linzhou dialect vocabulary. This chapter discusses the characteristic of several words in Linzhou dialect, including the ancient words, sound-divided words, sound compound words, feeling words and some closed-class words, in the ancient words part also increased the spoken language examples of Linzhou dialect in Yuan drama, in sound- divided words and sound compound words parts, mainly discusses the phonetic structure, the closed-class words mainly analyzed the pronouns, adverbs, modal particles, auxiliary words.Chapter V, the synchronic comparison between Linzhou dialect and Shanxi Jin dialect, Mandarin vocabulary. This chapter mainly compares the differences between the Linzhou dialect vocabulary and Shanxi Jin dialect from word-formation and composition of vocabulary, when compared with the Mandarin vocabulary, except for the aforementioned two aspects, but also the word meaning, at last analyzes the causes of the formation of differences.Chapter VI, the conclusion. This chapter summarizes the main contents of the thesis, and briefly describes its disadvantages.The appendix includes Linzhou dialect vocabulary, the corpus transcription and adjective reiterative locution suffix.
