Colorful Mountain Flowers,which was compiled by the Ethnic Affairs Committee of Yuanyang County,introduces in detail the creation myths,ethnic stories and people's lives of ethnic groups in Yuanyang County.Yuanyang County is located in Yunnan,where there are many ethnic groups and the cultures of ethnic groups are authentic.The stories in the book are all collected from the author's field investigation.Therefore,the stories in the book are of great help for English readers to understand the ethnic groups in Yunnan.The translation part of the translator is mainly the creation myths of the Hani and the Yi ethnic groups.With its cultural connotation,the translation of this book can better show the world the styles of the ethnic groups,enrich their literature,and promote their cultures.From the perspective of Reception Aesthetics,the translator analyzes the problems encountered in the process of translation and selects certain translation strategies to solve them.The translator thinks that the readers should be placed in an important position in the process of the translation of the creation myths of ethnic groups under the guidance of Reception Aesthetics,and the corresponding translation strategies should be adopted.The translator mainly undertakes the translation tasks of the fourth to the eighth chapters of the book and writes the translation report on the basis of the translation.The present report consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction of translation projects,including the reasons for choosing the topic,the original text and its features.The second part introduces the whole process of translation,including preparation,in-translation process and post-translation issues.The third part deals with the problems encountered by the translator in the process of translation and the solutions to the problems according to the theory of Reception Aesthetics.The fourth part is the summary and the unsolved problems in the translation.
