Objective: To understand the current situation of rumination,academic emotions and academic procrastination of undergraduates and postgraduates,and to explore the influence of rumination and academic sentiment on the delay of postgraduate thesis writing.Firstly,through the meta-analysis,this paper firstly understands the relationship between rumination and academic procrastination;and further studies are carried out to explore the functional mechanism of the relationship between rumination and academic procrastination through cross-sectional study,that is,mediating effect and moderating effect.Finally,the specific influence of rumination is explored on the procrastination of postgraduate thesis writing through longitudinal study.Methods: 1.Firstly,the meta-analysis method is used to quantitatively analyze the predecessors' research;2.Establishing a mediated moderation model that influences academic procrastination,and explore the process of rumination affecting academic procrastination;3.Tracking 32 junior postgraduates to explore how rumination affects procrastination during a specific period of time.Conclusion: 1.There is a moderate positive correlation between rumination thinking and academic procrastination.The relationship between the two is regulated by the cultural background,but it is not affected by the age of the subjects.2.The model test show that there is a significant positive correlation between rumination,negative academic emotions and academic procrastination;Rumination can directly affect academic procrastination,but can also lead to academic procrastination through negative academic emotions influences.Negative academic emotions play a part role in mediating between rumination and academic procrastination;Rumination and negative academic emotions will be regulated by psychological resilience,that is,those with higher levels of psychological resilience willreduce the impact of rumination on negative academic emotions.3.The results of the follow-up study show that overall,in the process of completing the graduate thesis,the procrastination is gradually intensified,and at the same time,the level of rumination is gradually increasing.In the delay of writing of the thesis,the rumination plays a role intensifying procrastination,and negative academic emotions play a mediating role.
