Tuyu Hun is the creator of the Qinghai Road on the Silk Road.In the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern dynasties,Qinghai Road once replaced the Hexi Corridor and became the main channel to communicate the Southern and Western regions.In recent years,there have been repeatedly unearthed Tuyu Hun epitaph,the cumulative has reached more than 20 square,and the related epitaph is still continuing to appear.Because the Tuyu Hun regime extended in the Middle Ages,these epitaphs were also distributed in the Wei,Jin,Sui and Tang dynasties.The article studies all the Tuyu Hun's epitaphs as a whole.The paper first summarizes the basic situation of these epitaphs,explains the reasons for the emergence of these epitaphs from the perspective of historical background,and gives an overview of the the unearthed Tuyu Hun epitaphs,and deepens the understanding of these epitaphs from the content of the text.Secondly,through the text and unearthed materials,this paper analyzes the use of Chinese characters in the Tuyu Hun people,and discusses the historical phenomena revealed by the unearthed materials.The third chapter is about Tuyu Hun epitaph calligraphy style analysis.Because the master status of these unearthed epitaphs is mostly royal,the rank is higher,so the popular style of books at that time in epitaph calligraphy are all unfolded in them.This point can deepen our understanding of the art of Tuyu Hun epitaph,but also can use this to learn more about the evolution of the calligraphy style of epitaph inscriptions in the Middle Ancient period.
