Traditionally,music is an aural art dominated by listening senses.When the audience appreciates music,they usually take their own listening experience as the leading role.When they perceive the sound,they are related to their own emotional experience in consciousness,thus producing emotional expression of sensibility and rationality,and forming aesthetic experience that marks their personal attributes and characteristics.The meaning of music needs to be expressed visually,which is often difficult for words to do.Even though the study of music synesthesia can provide certain possibilities for the expression of music,it is still very limited.Therefore,musicians began to try to express music with the periodic changes and derivative rules of visual symbols,which further strengthened the link between music information and images and videos.With the advent of the technological era in the 21 st century,the rapid development of media,communication,audio,and video technologies has made the visual presentation of music more colorful,and the study and application of visible music have emerged.Visible music is a presentation mode that takes visual expression as the main content,music as the carrier and basis,and considers the public's aesthetic and appeal.It USES various technical means and methods in the new media era to express music through the combination of audiovisual and audiovisual.Visible music more attention in the early formation in image and video and expression of music,is the expression of music,however,in today's visible music domain no longer confined to the discipline theory,with music creation,musicology,music education,music therapy,music psychology and other multi-disciplinary cross-border cooperation,extending out of the more practical function.Visible music technology is of great significance to the formation,understanding and transmission of music ontology.Starting from the research orientation of visible music,this paper compares the concept of visible music with that of music visualization,and visible music with that of visual music,we'll find its own orientation and theoretical standpoint.Finally,this paper analyzes the concrete examples of the use of visible music in composition,musicology,and music teaching,and studies its practical value in the field of application.Based on the re-study and re-interpretation of previous research results,this paper logically divides the formation mechanism of visible music,the presentation mode of visible music and the discipline application of visible music,so as to show the current existence of visible music,and make my own judgment and summary based on many studies.Although there is no obvious difference between the two,the visible music defined in this paper focuses more on the analysis of the final presentation of visualization and does not elaborate on the technical process of visualization implementation.The study and application of visible music can not only enrich the way of music transmission,but also play an important role in the process of music popularization,narrow the distance between the public and music art,and infuse music culture into the life habits of the whole people.At the same time,it is of revolutionary significance to the research and creation of professional music by innovating its own research methods and creation techniques.
