"Le Nozze Di Figaro",one of Mozart's classical comic operas,are played in major theaters or played individually at the concert.Its unique charm gains the public preference."Le Nozze Di Figaro" not only uses solo to illustrate characters' features but also employs plentiful ensemble to enhance characters' stage performances.As an eligible singer,he or she should have superb singing skills,but beyond that he or she is also responsible for studying character's lyrics,melodies,plots,and performances to some extent.Hence,the singer is able to hold roles' characteristics for the re-creation of the opera.This essay studies Susanna,a character in "Le Nozze Di Figaro",in two major aspects.Firstly,considering the opera's historical background and basic scenarios,the text demonstrates Susanna's effect in the opera through dissecting her characteristics,understanding the roles' psychological transformations,and clarifying the relationships between her and other roles.Secondly,this research analyzes the artistic processing and singing skills of Susanna's aria,"Deh vieni non tardar",the duet,"Via,resti servita,madama brillante",and "Sull'aria...Che soave zeffiretto" to establish solid theoretical basis for the singer.
