A New Exploration Of Tao Yuanming's Aesthetic Thought

Tao Yuanming's poems and his attitude towards life are always respected and pursued by people.People appreciate his natural way of doing things,advocate his free attitude towards life,chant his own way of living in the countryside,and imitate his natural and plain pastoral poetry,all of which originate from his own unique ideas.Based on Chen Yinque's "new nature theory",this paper discusses his concept of life with the characteristics of "new nature",and explains his unique aesthetic thought of "nature".Through Tao Yuanming's life practice and the artistic practice of poetry,this paper analyzes the deep connotation and artistic expression of his aesthetic thought,and focuses on the unique aesthetic thought In this part,the author discusses his aesthetic thought from four parts.The first chapter explains the formation foundation of Tao Yuanming's aesthetic thought,and analyzes his life concept of "new nature".This chapter first places Tao Yuanming in the special background of Wei,Jin,southern and Northern Dynasties,and explains his special political economy and ideological and cultural situation.On this basis,it takes Chen Yinque's "new nature theory" as the theoretical basis,and combines Tao Yuanming's own absorption of family tradition and Confucianism,Taoism and metaphysics,and discusses his unique "new nature" life concept.On the basis of the first chapter's background and theory,the second chapter further expounds the connotation of his aesthetic thought.Based on the theory of the first chapter "new nature",this chapter starts with the three "nature" mentioned in Tao Yuanming's poems,analyzes and explains the unique aesthetic connotation of "truth","freedom" and "natural operation" contained in his "nature",so as to discuss the "new" of his "nature" aesthetic thought.Among them,it makes a detailed distinction of the three inner concerns,namely,it distinguishes the uniqueness of the three inner concerns with "authenticity" and "frankness","valuing the body" and "transcendence" and "letting nature take its course".It also makes a concrete and practical interpretation of the three inner concerns with the views of "seekingbut not greedy","broad-minded and indifferent" fame and interests and "entrusted operation and responsibility" life respectively.In the third chapter,on the basis of the unique aesthetic connotation of "nature" in the second chapter,the author analyzes the unique external expression of aesthetic thought from the artistic expression of poetry.This chapter carries on the aesthetic connotation of "truth","freedom" and "natural movement",and explains the artistic expression of his aesthetic thought from three parts: the poetry creation of "no utility",the poetry style of "plain and harmonious" and the aesthetic image of "true nature".As for the aesthetic expression of "non utilitarian" poetry and prose creation,it is mainly explained from the creation purpose of "showing one's own aspiration","virtual stillness" and "entertaining" and the creation pursuit of "no intention for writing".On this basis,it is discussed through the use of "quality but reality",the "natural" grammar conception and the creation of "quiet and harmonious" style Finally,through the analysis of its unique aesthetic image from creation to performance,it explains the concrete expression and application of its aesthetic thought.In this part,it mainly discusses its "essence" from the process of aesthetic image creation,the "freedom" of aesthetic image representation,and the pursuit of aesthetic image of "contentment and forgetfulness" The aesthetic image characteristics of "true nature".The fourth chapter is an objective and rational analysis and evaluation of Tao Yuanming's aesthetic connotation and artistic performance.The first part of this chapter mainly explores the historical evolution and significance of Tao Yuanming's aesthetic thought from the evaluation of the later dynasties.The second part focuses on its influence on the contemporary society and explains the historical theoretical and practical significance of Tao Yuanming's aesthetic thought.The third part is to face up to the limitations of his aesthetic thought from the perspective of criticism,so as to make an objective and dialectical analysis of his aesthetic thought.
