Tao Yuanming’s View Of Nature And Its Enlightenment To Contemporary Moral Practice

In modern society,the world is wrapped up in desire,acts “from its small body”,forgets its inner simple heart,and just seeks in the world blindly to gain the “sense of existence” of self-existence,which makes the self lose its existence.Only when we return to nature,nature and nature can we gain real wisdom and liberate ourselves.Only when the heavens and the earth are integrated and the man and nature are integrated can the ideal state of harmonious coexistence be achieved.Only by walking by the way can we naturally unify with Tao.Therefore,in the face of nature,while we publicize our subjectivity,we must not forget that the world in which we live is not our objective object,but a universe integrated with us,so we should humble ourselves.Tao Yuanming’s free and easy,Geng Jie,benevolence,obedience to nature,his broad-minded attitude,and his comprehension of life,together with the poems he left behind,provided a spiritual home for later generations of literati.Tao Yuanming successfully promoted “nature” to an aesthetic realm.Tao Yuanming’s poems give us enlightenment: there is another way for human existence,that is,to feel the world with one’s true soul,so that one can integrate himself with the felt world.In this way,the goal of life is no longer set at the outside of life,and it becomes the object of self-pursuit.Instead,the self is guided by the natural will of the soul,so as to live the way that the heart wants to live.When the social value is separated from the basic human morality,the individual can be immune to it and let his life live the temperament of “Tao”.At first,this paper mainly expounds the historical background and theoretical source of Tao Yuanming’s view of nature,and mainly discusses its historical background from three aspects: the influence of Tao Yuanming’s family background,the shaping of social and political environment and the experience of early pastoral cultivation.It also analyzes the theoretical source of Tao Yuanming’s view of nature from the feelings of Confucianism entering WTO,the life sentiment of Laozi and Zhuangzi and the influence of metaphysics and Buddhism.Secondly,it further combs Tao Yuanming’s natural world and the connotation of his view of nature,and defines Tao Yuanming’s view of nature from the aspects of self-truth,free personality and harmony of nature.This paper analyzes the philosophy and poetry in Tao Yuanming’s view of nature from the aspects of pastoral scenery and simple state of mind,the expression of unique images in Tao Yuanming’s view of nature and the poetic survival in Tao Yuanming’s view of nature.Finally,it mainly discusses the enlightenment of Tao Yuanming’s view of nature to contemporary moral practice: obeying nature and feeling the true nature of life;Love life and seek personal freedom;Stick to morality and keep harmony between man and nature.
