Research On ZiGong Centering On The Book Of Rites

ZiGong was one of the disciples that Confucius recruited in his early years.He traveled with Confucius and participated in the affairs among the countries in the late spring and Autumn period and the early Warring States period.In the Confucian school after the death of Confucius,ZiGong maintained the unity of the Confucian school with his own knowledge and strength.As an important document of Confucianism,the book of rites of great significance to the study of Confucianism and the disciples of Confucius.Based on the book of rites this paper studies ZiGong by synthesizing the materials in other related literatures.This paper studies ZiGong from four aspects.First,a brief study of ZiGong.This paper makes a textual research on the "ZiGong" and "ZiGan" in the literature,and studies the birth and death of ZiGong from the materials recorded in the literature.For ZiGong mainly engaged in business in caoluqi area,and combined with the background of the times at that time to analyze the reasons.On ZiGong’s works,it summarizes the previous works and analysis,and correctly understands the relationship between ZiGong and yuejueshu.Secondly,the study of ZiGong and early Confucianism is based on the book of rites.We can see the close relationship between ZiGong and Confucius in his later years.At the same time,ZiGong inherited the "benevolence" of Confucius’ Confucianism and put it into practice indirectly.Thirdly,starting from the book of rites,I studied ZiGong and disciples of Confucius.We can see ZiGong’s praise for Yan Hui and his love for rites.ZiGong also made great efforts to maintain the unity of Confucius disciples.Fourth,starting from the book of rites this paper studies ZiGong and Lu wei.It can be seen that Zi Gong actively recommended talents for the state of Wei,trying to save the decline of the state of Wei,at the same time,he also widely participated in the activities of the state of Lu and contacts with the people of Lu,and indirectly maintained the overall interests of the state of Lu.
