On The Singing Skills Of The Art Song "Where To Return To Spring "

Where to return to spring is an art song of ancient poetry,which was composed by Mr.Chen Tianhe from Huang Tingjian of Song Dynasty under the guidance of his teacher Mr.Huang Zi in1931.The theme of the poem is spring,and the personification technique is adopted,which shows the hero’s yearning for spring and infatuation to keep it.However,it is found that this is unrealistic,and the feeling of melancholy and frustration.Chen Tianhe is a great composer and music educator in the modern music history of China.His art songs are like fine brushwork,delicate,elegant and profound.It is of great significance to study the singing skills of his art songs to understand the modern Chinese music culture and innovate the Chinese vocal music art.This paper takes Chen Tianhe’s work "where is spring" as the research object,and explores his singing theory and practice by analyzing his singing skills.The research shows that in the process of singing,we must pay attention to the singing skills of emotion,breath and resonance,articulation and enunciation,speed and strength,melody and timbre,etc.at the same time,for the problems such as unclear articulation,inaccurate pronunciation,incoherent breath,rigid body movements,etc.,we can use rhyme reduction,understand the creation background of the work and use professional breathing exercise methods to solve it.Hope that through these specific analysis,further grasp the characteristics of art songs,vocal learning,teaching and singing is very useful.
