“Ty Me How Not to Miss Him” is one of the most famous art songs in the history of modern Chinese music.Since its birth in 1926,it has been highly praised by the people, experts and scholars. The reason lies in the sincere and warm feelings for the hometown and the country. The "thinking" in the song refers to the author Liu Bannong’s infinite miss for his beloved wife and his deep yearning for his hometown, which can be said to be full of affection. At the same time, this work is also very prominent in terms of artistic attainments. Not only have music scholars in different fields have specially studied it,but the general public has also shown a special love for the work from an emotional point of view. However, the traditional Chinese solar term culture, which is bounded by the change of the four seasons, has no impact on the singing style. It is valued. In order to further explore the characteristics of the song, this article combines its own learning experience and relevant research materials to analyze "Taught Me How Not to Miss Him" from a new perspective, and gives its own thinking and research results from the aspects of lyrics, melody, artistic characteristics, singing methods, etc.
