The Study On Positive Meaning Of Contemporary Chinese Lexicon

The positive meaning of vocabulary refers to the meaning of the positive concept produced in the Chinese context and on the basis of objective reality,which is generally recognized in the subjective feeling of the Han nationality,so the corresponding words with positive meaning are positive words.This paper takes the positive words and their meanings in the Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th Edition,The Commercial Press 2016)as the research object.Compared with the previous research on commendatory term,commendatory meanings and active meanings of words,the positive meanings and positive meanings of words we put forward involve a wide range of words and have a deep excavation space.The basic types of positive meaning in modern Chinese vocabulary include conceptual,applied and latent.Conceptual positive meaning is the state and situation that people expect to exist,appear or occur out of instinct,some things or omens that they want to encounter,and the reference,evaluation and description of these contents.Applied positive meaning is the positive meaning formed by the influence of pragmatic habits in the long-term use of language.The latent positive meaning is the positive meaning which is not obvious,stimulated by cognitive mechanism and presented mainly through word formation.The generation of positive meaning is related to people's position perspective,vocabulary's positive attributes and pragmatic high frequency.The forms of positive words in modern Chinese include all positive morphemes,single positive morphemes and non positive morphemes.The third category does not contain positive morphemes,which form positive meanings by means of word meaning extension and transfer.Chinese positive words mainly include nouns,verbs and adjectives,which have corresponding ways of interpretation,and the positive meanings of words are reflected by the corresponding elements.The Chinese language has a long history,and the positive meaning of modern Chinese vocabulary has its historical origin,among which the social history culture has a profound influence on the positive meaning of modern Chinese vocabulary.Traditional deity worship,aesthetic concept,ethics,religious thought and so on all have the important function to the Chinese positive vocabulary formation and the lexical aspect meaning generation...
