The rapid development of new technology,such as internet,artificial intelligence,has radically changed marketing channels and purchase activities.With the distinction line between online and offline channels becoming blurring,today's consumers usually pay more attention to their feelings in the shopping journey.In addition,they also take an active part in the marketing activities organized by the brand side and tend to try various purchase methods.All of this suggests a need for enterprises to innovate marketing strategies and optimize marketing channels,so as to provide customers with more complete shopping experienceThe original text of this translation practice report is from part of Chapter 7(Online Channels and the Country of Origin)in International Marketing Strategy--The Country of Origin Effect on Decision-Making in Practice.This chapter mainly presents an introduction to the new phenomenon in the area of marketing channels in a comprehensive way and an in-depth analysis of the significant role of online channel in shopping activitiesThe translation practice report mainly consists of four parts,which are translation task description,translation process review,case study,and conclusion respectively.The case study part is the main body of this report,in which the translator summarizes the difficulties arising in the translation process from the perspective vocabulary,syntax and discourse,and demonstrates,through 35 best selected cases,how she combines translation theories and practice and employs various translation strategies and skills,such as literal translation and free translation,addition and reduction,conversion of part of speech,voice and sentence order,to tackle the difficult pointsThe translation practice has broaden translator's horizon,enriched her knowledge,and enhanced her understanding of marketing channels.Meanwhile,the translation of the book introduces from abroad fresh marketing philosophy and methods to our home enterprises,which has important implication and guidan ce for them to optimize marketing strategies and increase competitiveness.
