The Internet and media technologies have spawned new cultural development and consumption spaces.Various types of culture can show themselves in the cyberspace and see each other.This article selects the cultural consumption activities of netizens as the research object,and takes Bourdieu's relevant theories of “taste and distinction” as the explanatory framework.Through online observations and in-depth interviews,the research explores the differentiation and presentation of the interest of netizens in cultural consumption.Through studies,it was found that although the distinction of taste can satisfy the psychological and spiritual desires of people of different social statuses for self-identification and realization,with the emergence of the new “digital divide” in the Internet era and under the guidance of taste,The network cultural space is showing differentiation,division and even cultural obstruction.The separated cultural groups and concepts may become polarized and narrowed,bringing about a social and cultural crisis.The thesis is divided into four chapters.First,in the introduction,the research background and significance of this article are introduced,a review of the relevant research literature,and the interpretation of relevant theories.The first chapter focuses on the connotation and characteristics of cultural consumption,focusing on explaining the new changes in cultural consumption under the new network scenario.The second chapter specifically sorts out the phenomenon of taste distinction in the cyber cultural space,introduces the taste level of the cyber cultural space,that is,the taste community,and introduces the two types of cultural types of “elegant” and “ popular” and the differences they bring.The phenomenon is discussed in detail,and two media platforms with very different cultural tastes are specifically selected to analyze the tastes and cultural distinction.The third chapter discusses the construction of network cultural division from three aspects: communication symbol,media technology and media environment.Chapter 4 ponders the issues found in the study of Internet cultural taste and distinction,including the inclusiveness of technology has not alleviated the digital divide in the Internet era,the cultural barriers caused by the cultural distinction,and finally from In the pursuit of equality in education and improvement of cultural ethos,specific recommendations were made to try to achieve a balance between cultural levels and cultural equality,and to increase exchanges between different cultural types.On the basis of respect for differences,create a healthy and harmonious online cultural environment.
