Benjamin Britten(1913-1976)was one of the most influential composers in modern music in the 20th century,whose works were mainly songs and operas.His operas,in particular,have contributed a lot to the history of music."Noye's Fludde"painted in 1957,is a Britten One-Act created for children,the play is based on the traditional drama-Chester mysterious drama,mainly tells the story of the old testament bible,genesis in the story of Noah's ark".The opera premiered in 1958 at the aldeburgh festival and was performed mainly by children and amateur actors.This paper introduces the following contents:an overview of the composer's life and his opera,the analysis of the art noumenon of Noye's Fludde and the utility music effect on it.From the above,this paper consists of three chapters.The first chapter is about Britten's life and the background of the opera.The second chapter analyzes the art noumenon,especially the his opera.The purpose of this paper is to observe and analyze a series of characteristics of the language of Benjamin Britten in the music language,including motivational theme,tonal modulation and harmonics.To explore the composer's creative thinking,thus forming a mastery of the music language system.And his use of unconventional instruments.The third chapter mainly study.
