| Based on the visual representation of Chinese font minimalist design,this paper discusses how to obtain the minimalist and visual communication functions of text visual language.Through the use of literature method,model research method,case analysis method and other comprehensive methods combined with actual analysis and research.The author combines the design science majors he has studied,starting from the functional and aesthetic aspects of design,and using the knowledge of design science,graphics,Chinese character art,design psychology,semiotics,and formal beauty rules,and expounds the specific illustrations.Starting from the ancient original records,the paper analyzes the underlying factors that exist and contain in ancient historical deeds that may promote or determine the formation of Chinese characters.Under the influence of potential factors,the basic characteristics of ancient font forms and word formation are discussed.And the influence of these characteristics on the application of modern design.In the actual design,the advantages of ancient font design are removed.Finally,the author analyzes the design case of Chinese character elements,and uses the cultural phenomenon of Chinese characters as a carrier to explain the expression behind the extremely simplified font design and other unique aesthetic features.Using the minimalist and diversified styles and the works of outstanding designers from Japan,Taiwan,Germany,and Northern Europe,we explore the minimalist ways to meet the Chinese character font design.According to the present situation of China’s own design development,we can study the Western design ideas and combine the National conditions of China’s design to explore the way suitable for the development of our own country in the design of fonts.In the era of continuously affluent design,the font in the design must not forget the "original" of Chinese characters.It is necessary to seek a truly minimalist font design under the trend of the system.In the design,the definition of "breaking away from each other" is elaborated from the two aspects of design thinking and font design.The removal of the original fixed obsession is not purely a continuation of the past style,a single color and form in the design.It should be based on the contemporary era.Review the tradition,Look to the future,dig deep,look for the most appropriate expression,retain thenecessary design elements to integrate Chinese character art,and review the combination of China’s extensive and profound Chinese traditional culture,so that the elements of font design are integrated with the entire design.In the end,the author tries to find the match point and innovation source in the font design from the rule of Chinese character making,and designs the font in a simple and inclusive manner to create a minimalist font design that belongs to China. |
