Researches On Chinese Military Films Since The New Century

Chinese military film is one of the most important types in the contemporary Chinese movie industry.After entering the new century,with the deepening of China's economic system reform,the pace of Chinese film industrialization has gradually accelerated,the commercial and entertainment of domestic films have been highlighted,and China's military films have also had a clear transition trend,and their influence and competitiveness have been continuously strengthened.Since the inception of the new century,military films have adjusted their innovative,involved in many elements,such as action,love,violence,horror,crime and the like.Many excellent military movies have sprung up everywhere in the Chinese film market.Both in terms of commercial benefits or art presentation,making certain achievements,and becoming one of the most popular movies genres among Chinese audiences.At the same time,Chinese military films tell Chinese stories and convey mainstream Chinese values in a more modern and audient-friendly way.In this paper,taking Chinese military films as the main body of research since the new century,based on previous research results,and combing the development of military films and discuss the content of Chinese military films,and then discuss the new century since the construction of military films in the narrative space and the mainstream values of the characteristics of the expression.The first part of this paper defines the concept of Chinese military movies,simply combing the development process of Chinese military movies,and explains the development status of Chinese military movies in the new century.The second part analyzes the content characteristics of contemporary military films in the context of film industrialization and in the comparison with traditional military films before the new century from the aspects of story theme,character modeling and theme development.The third part discusses the narrative space construction of Chinese military films since the new century,which shows the characteristics of the expansion of regional space to foreign regions,the upgrading of military professionalism in war space,and the return of humanity in spiritual space.The last part explores the construction and expression of the mainstream values of military films in the new century from three aspects: the deep integration of patriotism,heroism and personal values,the story-like expression of national culture and the inquiry into war and human nature.Thispaper puts the research object in the historical dimension and analyzes the new breakthrough and innovation of military movies,in order to provide some help for the creation of military movies in the future.
