On The Formation Of Film Space Narration

Time and space are the two basic dimensions of the narrative. Time characteristics of the narrative is more obvious, But time is more apparent narrative feature, researchers have begun to pay more attention to time in the early studies. "Language" is a narrative tool that determines the basic nature of the narrative, picture and sound can be seen as the narrative "language" of movie, they are manifested as visual(acoustic) space continuous motion and spatial paragraph combination. In this sense, the essence of film narrative is a "space" narrative, in the final analysis, when people talking about the narrative,space issues can not be avoided. Space narrative is actually a creative method, a method based on the choice, processing, creating of space, the basis of the role of prominent film space, the space as a primary means of promoting the film narrative, and ultimately construct a complete narrative of creation. Based on the analysis of movie space basis and film narrative,this dissertation will discuss the construction of the space narrative by visual spatial organization of the narrative, auditory space supplement of the narrative and virtual space extending the narrative.
