Subject to different sociocultural factors, any organization inevitably produces various crises in the development, and the relevant information will be rapidly disseminated among the public through new media. At the same time, the public's opinions and evaluations of crisis events affect the organization's future development. Therefore, facing the pressure of public opinions, many organizations adopt crisis management discourse(CMD)to deal with crisis events. Most domestic and foreign scholars have studied CMD from the perspectives of communication and public relations, and rarely involved linguistics.Critical Genre Analysis(CGA),the extension of Genre Analysis(GA)theory, aims to carry out a multidimensional analysis of discursive practice in professional contexts.Based on Bhatia's levels of discourse realization model, this research takes CMD as the research objective, collecting official statements issued by different enterprises or companies on Sina mocroblog in response to crisis events as data, and conducts a critical analysis from the dimensions of text genre, professional practice and professional culture. This study starts from the genre dimension and finds that there are three moves in the generic structure of CMD,including description of introductory information, presentation of statement purposes and demonstration of organizational attitudes.Secondly,in terms of professional practice dimension,it is found that according to the communicative purposes of making expositions, keeping commitments, expressing evaluations, providing instructions, and giving warnings, discourse practitioners use expository discourse, affirmatory discourse, evaluative discourse, instructive discourse and admonitory discourse. The mixing of different discursive genres constitutes different interdiscursive performances. Finally, the influencing reasons of CMD is analyzed from the perspective of professional culture, and the conclusion is that social security, social responsibility, and cultural demands promote the formation of CMD.Through a critical genre analysis of CMD,this study,on the one hand, guides social organizations to strategically formulate a statement when a crisis occurs, effectively achieving the goal of crisis management. On the other hand, the study is instrumental to strengthen the ability of the public to perceive and understand CMD,improving the crisis management awareness of social organizations. And the study ultimately promotes the practice and future development of CMD,having certain academic value and practical significance.
