Childhood experience directly affects the formation of a person's character.Although there are many factors that affect personality,genetic inheritance,family environment,religious thought and so on are the most important factors for the formation and change of personality.Chagall's childhood character is mainly formed through his family education,school education,social education and religious thought.The formation of Chagall's childhood character is a part of his childhood experience,but it affects the formation of his later painting style.The theme and content of his paintings are about his childhood experience in his hometown of Vitebsk.His painting form is more mosaic mosaic art by recalling some fragments of his childhood experience.His painting emotion comes from Russian Jewish Poor's life and religious thought as well as romantic love experience with his wife.In Chagall's paintings,the scene of his hometown Vitebsk and the aesthetic interest of the characters are mainly expressed through "meaning" and "image".That is to say,the tender and simple feelings and the sacred visions of dreams.It is mainly manifested in two aspects:Hometown emotion and religious thought.This paper mainly analyzes the aesthetic characteristics of his paintings from the three angles of "truth","goodness" and "beauty" in aesthetic principles.
