A Study Of Gefei's Novels From The Perspective Of Postmodern Theory

Postmodernism was born in the 1950 s and 1960 s.It advocates deconstruction of grand narration,individualism,pluralism and uncertainty.In the 1980 s,there was a "postmodernism trend of thought" in the domestic literary circle.Under its influence,a number of new literary schools,such as magic realism literature,vanguard literature and new realism literature,were born.As a vanguard writer deeply influenced by postmodernism,Gefei's creation has always been shrouded in a distinct postmodern atmosphere.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly discusses the significance of the topic and the structure of the article,and summarizes the research of Gefei novels at home and abroad,then lists the research methods and research ideas of this paper.The second chapter summarizes the theory of postmodern literature and analyzes the characteristics of postmodern literature from the four elements of literature.The third chapter first expounds the development history and theory of Postmodernism in China.Secondly,it carefully sort out the writing experiences of Gefei,analyzes the influence of foreign postmodernist writers' works and Gefei's own life experience on his creation.Finally,it summarizes the characteristics of Gefei's novels from the horizon of Postmodernism: deconstructing traditional ideology,advocating readers to abandon presupposition for reading through the "inducing factor" set up by the author in the text,and to establish a complex multifaceted narrative space with "imagery" and "multi voice".The fourth chapter analyzes the text of Gefei's novels.The author takes several postmodern classical narrative techniques in Gefei's novels,such as collage,irony,intertextuality,parody,as well as the narrative effects of metafiction,little narrative,absurdity and so on.At the same time,it sort out the author's Postmodern language experiment.At last,the conclusion summarizes the contribution of Gefei's novels to Postmodern Literature:relying on the non-linear structure narrative method of the story,separatingnarrative time and text time with "recollection",blending traditional creation techniques with character creation.
