| The period of the Five Dynasties and the Northern Song Dynasty was the peak period of Chinese landscape painting.During this period,landscape painting formed a variety of styles and appearances in different geographical environments,especially in the Central Plains.The Central Plains region has constantly nourished and promoted the development of literature and art due to its superior geographical environment and excellent traditional culture.As far as landscape painting is concerned,both the technique and the theory have made significant progress.Relevant data on the landscape painting in the Five Dynasties and Northern Song Dynasty are very rich.According to the author’s collection and research,most scholars still roughly divide the landscape painting from the regional aspect,but have not divided it into more detailed divisions.Therefore,this article will use the "Central Plains Area" as the starting point for research,and rediscover the artistic ideas and personal style of the representative painters of the Five Dynasties and the Northern Song Dynasty.Therefore,this article will analyze the Central Plains style of landscape painting in the Five Dynasties and Northern Song Dynasty from four parts.First,the first part will focus on the definition of the Central Plains style,and the influence of geographical and cultural environment on this style.Secondly,the second part is the focus of this article.It will analyze the specific appearance of the Central Plains style in the Five Dynasties and Northern Song Dynasty through painting language and aesthetic characteristics.The third part compares it with the landscape painting styles of other regions in the same period,so as to sort out the Central Plains style more comprehensively.Finally,the fourth part is an outlook on the Central Plains style of the Northern Song Dynasty landscape paintings in the Five Dynasties.It is hoped that contemporary Zhongyuan landscape painters or landscape painting learners can inherit and carry forward the spirit of the Northern Plains landscape paintings in the Northern Song Dynasty. |
