In the 1990s,chunk theory was introduced into China, and studied in English and Chinese Teaching. However, chunk theory was introduced into China in a short time.At present, the research on Chinese chunks is not enough,no matter in ontology research or application research.More research is needed.Taking Chinese teaching as the starting point and foothold, the selective Chinese spoken framework chunks which are commonly used in daily communication to express the selection function are taken as the research object for analysis and research."Trinitarian Grammar" proposed by Feng Shengli is a new grammar theory for second language teaching.Based on the theory of "Trinitarian Grammar",we analyze language points from the three dimensions of formal structure, function and typical context of function. We first give a definition to the " selective spoken framework chunk",then collect the Chinese selective spoken framework chunks from textbooks, grammar reference books, syllabus, academic books and papers. After filtering and sorting out the collected chunks,we divide the selective spoken framework chunk into three different sub-functions of comparison, weighing and decision according to the logical process of selection.According to the three principles of classification, typicality and representativeness of chunks, and current research on the chunks,a specific case study is carried out by selecting one chunk from the three sub-functions of comparison, weighing and decision. The variable items "A" and "B" in the chunk "A na you B+X" are the objects of comparison and selection, and "X" is the description of "A" and "B".According to the needs of the expression, the chunk may also produce Variants like "A+X1,na you B+X2","(A)Na you B+X","A na you(B)+X",etc. The function of the chunk is mainly to express comparison and choice.Because of the rhetorical tone of "na you",it can also express the emotional color of the speaker like admiration, disapproval, satire, etc. The typical context of "A na you B+X" includes persuasion, self depreciation, and belittling others in order to defend one's own in collective action, etc. In the chunk "lun X1,Y1;lun X2,Y2",the variable terms X1 and X2 are usually used to describe different aspects of objects, and the components are mostly noun and nominal components.Y1 and Y2 are the results of the tradeoff analysis. They are the main part of the sentence."lun X1,Y1;lun X2,Y2" is mainly to comment and weigh, then to make a choice in analysis. The typical context of the chunk includes introduction of perfect objects, the expression of dialectical and inclusive psychology, and the inability to make decisions, etc. The variable "A" in the sentence chunk "haishi A ba" is the result of choices and decisions.Fixed item "haishi" implies a choice after consideration,"ba" represents a consultative tone. The function of the chunk is to decide and choose, and it can also be used to change the topic.Typical contexts for "haishi A ba" include refusing an invitation, discussing travel plans, and discussing test scores. Finally, based on the specific analysis of chunks' case,we take function as the outline and design the teaching application based on the selective spoken framework chunks. The focus of teaching design is on communicative tasks. We hope the teaching design can provide teaching ideas and models for Chinese spoken functional chunks'teaching.
