"Trinitarian Grammar" is a new theory of second language teaching grammar put forward by Feng Shengli and Shi Chunhong(2011),which mainly includes the formal structure of sentences,the function of structures and the typical context of functions.It is a new attempt to use this new grammar teaching system to practice Chinese "A de C" sentence pattern.This paper will take "A de C" sentence pattern in teaching Chinese as a foreign language as an example,and take "Trinitarian Grammar" as the theoretical framework to analyze and elaborate it.It is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction.The introduction first elaborates the reasons and significance of the topic.Secondly,it summarizes and analyses the related research on "Trinitarian Grammar" and "A de C" sentence patterns,as well as the research status of the combination of "Trinitarian Grammar" and sentence patterns teaching.Finally,the purpose and method of this study are introduced.The second part is the study of "Trinitarian Grammar" and the sentence patterns of "A de C".Firstly,it introduces the "Trinitarian Grammar",especially the "typical context" in "Trinitarian Grammar".Secondly,it summarizes the syntactic,semantic and pragmatic features of the "A de C" sentence pattern.Thirdly,it summarizes the structure,function and context of "A de C" sentence pattern based on "Trinitarian Grammar".Finally,it distinguishes the "Trinitarian Grammar" analysis from the traditional grammar analysis.The third part is a questionnaire survey and analysis based on "A de C" sentence pattern of "Trinitarian Grammar".The specific design and implementation of the questionnaire survey were elaborated.The collected data were arranged and analyzed in detail.On the basis of "Trinitarian Grammar",the acquisition condition of "A de C" sentence pattern from foreign students is concluded.The fourth part is the study of the errors in the sentence pattern of "A de C".The important part is placed on the error analysis of "A de C" sentence pattern.The collected corpus is classified and divided into four types: ‘omission',‘addition',‘mixing use' and ‘improper use of relevant components'.At the same time,the causes of the errors are analyzed from the perspective of "Trinitarian Grammar".The fifth part is the suggestion of teaching Chinese as a foreign language based on the sentence pattern "A de C" of the "Trinitarian Grammar".This paper mainly puts forward some suggestions on the design of textbooks and class teaching of sentence pattern "A de C".What is the key content in this paper is‘How to introduce typical context into teaching' in class.The last part is the conclusion.The conclusion summarizes thecontents,innovations and shortcomings of this paper,and looks forward to the relevant research.Based on the theoretical framework of teaching grammar system of "Trinitarian Grammar" and sentence pattern "A de C",this paper integrates them and summarizes the differences between the "Trinitarian Grammar" and theoretical grammar.It also summarizes the three dimensions of sentence pattern "A de C" based on the "Trinitarian Grammar" and finds out that foreign students have difficulty in learning sentence pattern "A de C" from practical perspective.On this basis,combined with the "Trinitarian Grammar",this article specifies the methods of how to utilize the typical context introduction in teaching from the aspect of teaching Chinese as a foreign language so as to provide reference for the teaching and research of Chinese grammar.
