The Qing Dynasty was the last feudal society in China and the heyday of the old Chinese tea trade.The Sino-US tea trade is an important part of China's foreign trade.Since the founding of the independent state,the United States has started trade with China.By the end of the Qing Dynasty,tea has always occupied the core commodity status of Sino-US trade.Studying the Sino-US tea trade will help us understand the development characteristics and influencing factors of the tea trade in the Qing Dynasty and understand the trade between China and the United States in the early days.This paper is divided into five parts.The tea trade between China and the United States is divided into three stages: the rising stage,the prosperous stage and the fading stage.Specifically,it elaborates on the development history,characteristics,causes and impacts of the Sino-US tea trade.The first part through a series of facts,reproduces the Sino-US tea trade before the Opium War,and summarizes the characteristics of trade during this period.The second part summarizes the development of China-US tea trade during the boom period,and summarizes the different trade characteristics exhibited during this period.And analyzed it,specifically explained the reasons for the rapid development of the Sino-US tea trade from four aspects: the domestic tea consumption market,the attitude of the US government,the international environment and the way of trading.The third part summarizes the general situation of the decline of Sino-US tea trade in the late Qing Dynasty,and discusses several related factors that led to the decline of Sino-US tea trade in the late Qing Dynasty from the subjective and objective aspects.The fourth part analysis the impact of Sino-US tea trade on the US economy in the Qing Dynasty.The tea trade with China brought huge profits to the US government and American businessmen,promoted the accumulation of commercial capital in the early days of American independence,and was beneficial to the construction of American industrialization.At the same time,it has promoted the regulation of the US tea market.Trade with China also promoted the prosperity and development of the US coastal cities and other regions,and promoted the development of other industries such as the maritime industry.In general,the Sino-US tea trade in the Qing Dynasty was of great significance to the development of the US economy.Finally,it is a summary of the content of the full text.
