The essential attribute of human is sociality,and the sense of belonging is the most basic human need.In the case of exclusion,the rupture of social ties between people will lead to the loss of sense of belonging,which will affect their quality of life and work motivation.It is of great social significance to explore the mechanism between workplace exclusion and work motivation.In this study,265 on-the-job employees in domestic enterprises and organizations were taken as the research object,and questionnaires on workplace ostracism,trait mindfulness,Career future time view and job engagement were used as the main measurement tools to explore the mechanism of workplace ostracism on employees' work engagement and the moderating effect of trait mindfulness and Career future time view.Through descriptive statistical analysis of survey data,independent sample t test,one-way analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)the four variables of workplace ostracism,trait mindfulness,opened-future time and limited-future time all have significant predictive effects on work engagement.(2)trait mindfulness has a significant negative moderating effect on workplace ostracism and job engagement;The open future time view has a significant negative moderating effect between the workplace exclusion and job involvement.There is a significant negative moderating effect between workplace ostracism and job involvement in the view of limited future time.(3)for employees' work engagement,workplace exclusion,trait mindfulness and open future time view have significant interactions,while trait mindfulness and open future time view have a joint moderating effect on workplace exclusion and work engagement.(4)for employees' work engagement,workplace ostracism,trait mindfulness and career future time view have significant interactions.The research results suggest that managers should try their best to reduce the workplace ostracism of employees,pay attention to cultivate employees' long-term career future time view,and provide employees with professional mindfulness training to improve their work commitment,achieve a win-win situation between individuals and organizations,and promote the healthy development of enterprises.
