As an evaluation indicator of employee growth experience and a predictor of organizational performance,work engagement has an important impact on individual work output and enterprise development.Based on social emotional choice theory and goal setting theory,employees’ attitudes towards future time can regulate individual behavior and set future goals and motivations during the work process.When exploring the relationship and internal mechanism between future time insight and work engagement,this study introduced two variables,time management disposition and subjective well-being,from the perspective of emotional,personality,and cognitive factors closely related to work engagement,to deeply explore the impact mechanism and relationship model of the four.At the same time,group counseling was used to intervene in employees’future time insight to improve their work engagement level.This study is divided into two parts.In the first study,the employees of private enterprises(hereinafter referred to as "employees")were taken as the object,and the relationship between the future time perspective,time management disposition,subjective well-being and work engagement of 763 employees was analyzed by using the General Future Time Perspective Questionnaire(GFPQ),Time Management Disposition Scale(TMDS),Affectometer2,Life Satisfaction Scale(SWLS)and Work Engagement Scale(UWES).The second study is based on the first study,14 employees with low level of work engagement were given group psychological intervention once a week(90~120 minutes)for a total of six times.The conclusions of study 1 and study 2 are as follows:(1)The future time perspective,time management disposition,subjective well-being and work engagement of employees in private enterprises are generally above the middle level,and there are significant differences in demographic variables such as age,marital status,work experience and job level.(2)There is a significant positive correlation between the future time perspective,time management disposition,subjective well-being and work engagement of employees in private enterprises.(3)Time management disposition and subjective well-being play a chain mediating role in the relationship between future time perspective and work engagement.(4)The group psychological counseling in this study is feasible and effective.It can effectively improve the future time perspective of employees in private enterprises,and then improve the level of employees’ work engagement.It not only achieves good immediate effect,but also has certain tracking effect.
