According to the 44 th Statistical Report on the Development of the Internet in China issued by the China Internet Network Information Center(CNNIC),as of June2019,the number of Internet users in China reached 854 million, the number of mobile Internet users reached 847 million, and the proportion of Internet users using mobile phones to access the Internet up to 99.1%.According to the results of the statistical report, mobile Internet users in China account for the vast majority of all Internet users, accounting for as much as half of the national population.Mobile Internet users have become a group that cannot be ignored. The powerful functions and intrusiveness of mobile phones,as well as strong user stickiness, have a negative impact on individual offline interpersonal communication, such as neglecting and ignoring those offline and indulging in smartphones in social occasions.Researchers call this phenomenon phubbing.Studies have found that phubbing is not only not conducive to the formation of impressions, but also reduces the relationship satisfaction and happiness of interpersonal objects, and may even lead to distraction and loneliness. As the phenomenon of phubbing is becoming more and more common, the influencing factors and production mechanism of phubbing have gradually become the focus of researchers' attention.Among them, social norms may be an important factor that affects the indifferent behavior of phubbing. Therefore, this study starts with the social norm and explores the impact and mechanism of the social norm on phubbing..Study 1 explores the suitability of social norm effects in the field of phubbing through questionnaires, and compares the descriptive norm and injunctive norm's interpretation of phubbing. The results of questionnaire analysis of 473 participants found that both the descriptive norm and injunctive norm had an effect on phubbing, and the descriptive norm had a greater effect on phubbing than the injunctive norm.Study 2 passed 5(social norm starting conditions: high-high group,high-low group,low-high group,low-low group and control group)× 2(standard information source:inner group, outer group)The impact of normative integration and normative information sources on phubbing. The research results of 217 subjects found that when the descriptive norm and the injunctive norm were at a consistent high level(high and high group),they had the greatest impact on phubbing, and the subjects had the highest phubbing intention score. Moreover, the social norm information source is that the inner group and the outer group have no significant effect on the phubbing intention of thesubjects.Study 3 examines the impact of dynamic descriptive norms on phubbing and the mediating effects of self-efficacy and importance perception. The results show that dynamic descriptive norm can reduce the phubbing intention of subjects more than static descriptive norm.At the same time,self-efficacy and importance perception have mediating effects in the effect of dynamic descriptive norm on phubbing.Study 4 encodes the two psychological processes of self-efficacy and important sexuality as the highlighting of psychological disorders, and the control group as the highlighting of non-psychological obstacles, and studies the role of dynamic descriptive norm in the impact of psychological disorder highlighting on phubbing. The results show that dynamic descriptive norm can reduce the impact of psychological barrier highlighting on phubbing.
