Halliday, the founder of functional linguistics, divided the metaphysical functions of language into three categories:conceptual functions, interpersonal functions, and textual functions.Conceptual functions include experience functions and logic functions, and experience functions are mainly reflected by "transitivity" and "voice".Transitivity is the main manifestation of empirical function and the main tool to analyze how people express the subjective and objective world through language and analyze it.Functional linguistics divides transitivity systems into six process types, namely, action process, mental process, relational process, behavioral process, communicative process, existential process.Based on the theory of transitivity of systemic functional linguistics, this article uses the method of illustration to analyze the six processes in the transitivity system based on the Chinese-Urban version of Comrade Mao Zedong's Report on the Investigation of Hunan Peasant Movement. The number of characters, the nature, and the types of roles are divided into process types.Based on the corpus, the six Uyghur processes'semantic configuration structure and some characteristics are summarized, and the Uyghur transitory system network is described initially. Finally, starting with the transformation of process components, the extension of components and the expression of active and passive voices, the comparison between Chinese and Uighur is made to find the similarities and differences between Chinese and Uyghur in transitivity systems. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which summarizes the research purpose, research significance, related research results of transitivity at home and abroad, and introduces research methods and corpus sources. The second chapter is the theoretical framework and corpus analysis. It mainly introduces transitivity theory, and the six processes it includes, the distribution of the six processes in the corpus, the criteria for dividing clauses, and the analysis methods. The third chapter is the analysis of Uyghur transitivity.Based on the corpus,it illustrates the six ways of Uyghur expression, the type of semantic configuration structure, and its characteristics. The fourth chapter is the comparison of transitivity between Chinese and Uyghur. It compares the transitivity system between Chinese and Uyghur from the transformation of process, extension and expression of active and passive voices. The fifth chapter is a summary, which summarizes the main content, innovations and achievements of the paper, and puts forward the deficiencies in the research and future research prospects.
