With the rise of country’s economy and the change in demand for talents,it challenges our education system.The training of talents focuses on education,especially basic education,and teachers play an irreplaceable role in basic education.Therefore,the professional development of teachers is particularly important.Teaching reflection as an important way to promote professional development of teachers needs more attention.Effective teaching reflection cannot only promote the improvement of teachers’ professional level,but also promote the all-round development of students and the improvement of basic teaching quality.However,in the teaching reflection of teachers at the basic education stage,there are still problems such as shallow reflection consciousness,too narrow reflection content,insufficient scientific reflection process,single reflection method and so on.Therefore,this paper intends to examine and analyze the teaching reflection from all aspects of teachers in a real teaching environment,and puts forward relevant suggestions accordingly,in order to provide more basic-level teachers with reference to teaching reflection practice.This study selects the method of case study,selects teacher Hou,a junior high school English teacher with high teaching reflective ability,clearly narrates her own teaching reflection process,and has certain theoretical research ability,comprehensively uses literature research method,interview method,data collection method and so on,from the perspective of teacher Hou’s teaching reflection consciousness,reflection content,reflection method,reflection process and so on.The research finds that the development of teaching reflection consciousness is a process of training,and we should pay attention to cultivate problem consciousness,responsibility,open and positive mentality and so on.In the reflection content,it mainly involves the teaching goal,the teaching content,the teaching design,the teaching method and the class management and so on.In the method of reflection,it mainly involves two aspects:self-reflection and cooperative reflection.In the process of reflection,it mainly involves finding problems,describing problems,analyzing problems,putting forwardcountermeasures,forming theory and so on.On the basis of sorting out and examining the relevant materials,according to the specific situation of teacher Hou’s teaching reflection,the main factors that affect teacher Hou’s teaching reflection can be divided into two aspects: personal factor and school factor.Personal factors mainly include personal character,reflective ability,knowledge quality and so on.School factors mainly include school platform and school environment.On this basis,this study puts forward some suggestions to promote the reflection of English teachers in junior high school.On the individual side of teachers,we should change the concept of teaching reflection,improve the theoretical literacy of education and teaching,enrich the content of daily teaching reflection,and master the scientific teaching reflection method.Teachers related to the organization,pay attention to the reflection function of the teaching and research group,construction of learning-reflection schools,improve the innovation of higher normal college training model,and change of the functions of the educational administration,and so on.
