The aesthetic category was fermented in the pre-Qin period.After thousands of years of power reserve and breeding evolution,it has well-grounded development in the late Qing Dynasty.Particularly,the "Hou" category of Changzhou School showed an extraordinary innovation spirit and theoretical vitality.This paper in studying has made more overall analysis and classify original materials of Changzhou School,which attempts to include and explore the "Hou" category from vertical and horizontal perspectives.The first chapter mainly analyzes the concrete application and manifestation of "Hou"category in all times.The "Hou" category mainly divides three parts.The first phase,from pre-Qin to Wei and Jin Dynasties,is the evolution stage of the "Hou" aesthetic category."Hou" has extended from the nature concept into a personality evaluation category,which become a kind of affirmation and praise of human virtue,showing "Hou" entered aesthetic activities.During the Han Dynasty,through the development of the Confucian "tender and gentle" personality norms and Wang Chong's "gas thickness and thinness" literary subject theory,"Hou" is recognized by the personality aesthetics as the fundamental requirement of the personal talent cultivation."Hou"category officially entered the field of literary theory.The Wei and Jin Dynasties are an aesthetic breakthrough period of "Hou" category.It has begun to dispense the shackles of morality and practical concepts,representing mild aesthetic appeal.As an aesthetic category,"Hou" initially appeared in the field of literary theory.The second phase,from Tang to Song Dynasty,was the establishment and development stage of the "Hou" aesthetic category.It is officially established as the category of aesthetic style,which not only shows the magnificent and open masculine beauty,but also has the implicit advocacy and pursuit of feminine beauty.The third phase,during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the "Hou" concepts and categories that have appeared before are reproduced in a posture that fits the times and inherits the tradition."Hou" has been presented not only as a category of aesthetic style,but also the personal moral quality and temperament,academic cultivation,literary creation methods and the literature implication.The second chapter,based on the development stages of the Changzhou School and the common thesis argument that Confucian poetry education,differentiates and studies the three evolutionary stages of the Changzhou School's "Hou" category:"Begins with" the Confucian poetry education;"holds on" the Confucian poetry education;"beyond" the Confucian poetry education.The third chapter,from the three angles of cultural character,creative pursuit and aesthetic ideal,reveals the three kinds of aesthetic connotation of "softness","truth",and "coherence" in the"Hou" category.Firstly,after the subtle of the Ci," Hou" category has a "softness" connotation that echoes the mild and gentle aesthetic sect of Chinese nation.Secondly,Through the sharp sense and grasp of the social reality,we seek the "truth" of emotional quality in the "Hou" category Thirdly,as the aesthetic ideal of Changzhou School,"Hou" combines true and pure emotional quality with expression skills to achieve the "coherence" aesthetic state.The fourth chapter discusses the specific practical application of the "Hou" category from the perspectives of creation theory,Zun style theory,and aesthetic appreciation theory."Hou" as a requirement for personal cultivation emphasizes the inner temperament and learning cultivation.As the aesthetic principle of literary creation,there are mainly the "Hou" study of the creation conception and creation method.In the Zun style,"Hou" category mainly includes the manifestation of Ci origin,wording and phrasing,style and state.In addition,"Hou" is also closely combined with the ancient Chinese's unique aesthetic perception habits and appreciation method"Taste",with the "Hou and Taste" explain the introverted and profound,remote and pessimistic aesthetic feeling.Finally,taking the creation of Tan Xian and Kuang Zhouyi as examples to discuss the practice of the "Hou" aesthetic concept,and strive to grasp the full application of the "Hou"category at the level of understanding and practice.The fifth chapter analyzes the value,limitation and significance of the "Hou" category of Changzhou School.In order to adapt to the change of society's aesthetic trend,the "Hou" category of Changzhou School has effectively remedied the shortcomings of Zhexi School and updated its style.At the same time,by expanding the theme of the Ci,it strengthened the function of chanting history.Objectively,during the development of the "Hou" category of the Changzhou School,the barriers to staying firmly the achievements of the Song Dynasty.In addition,the practice of commenting does not meet the actual limitations.Nonetheless,the "Hou" category has important guiding and enlightening significance for re-recognizing some Ci theory,as well as contemporary literature creation and aesthetics.
