The Zhou dynasty is the origin of the Chinese civilization, which laid the foundation of the civilization of the next two thousand years.Influenced by the idea that men and women are different, men are superior to women, and men are superior to women and women are superior to men.Zhou people have formed very strict etiquette norms for women in aspects of marriage, funeral, appellation, clothing and sacrifice since they were young. The contents are various and complex. In the marriage etiquette norms, divided into three aspects, before marriage, during marriage, after marriage. In the norms of pre-marital etiquette, women are faced with the unequal status between men and women at birth.Under the influence of this concept, parents mainly educate their daughters about the norms of pre-marital etiquette, mainly from four aspects: "women's morality, women's speech, women's appearance and women's skills".In the norms of female etiquette in marriage,it is emphasized that women should obey their parents' orders and strictly abide by the rules of non-marriage with the same surname. In the aspects of marriage "five" ceremony, men's marriage, marriage and funeral,a set of strict etiquette norms has been established for women, which reflects the Zhou people's idea of "men are superior to women".After marriage, women's etiquette is more strict.Under the influence of the incompatibility between men and women, and the concord etiquette, women are trapped in the boudoir and their personal freedom is restricted. After marriage, women had to strictly obey their in-laws and take a lower position in the extended family.Even so,Zhou people established a set of "seven go three do not go" principle of divorce. From birth to death,Zhou people have made specific etiquette rules for women, and funeral is the most important.Firstly, according to the sequence of funeral: dying, evocation, small gathering, great burial, moving temple,burial,anti-crying,funeral offering,sob-crying offering, xiaoxiang, daxiang, etc.,the restrictions and norms of female groups in the whole process were observed. Then, based on the wufu system and taking the mother and wife as the main perspective, the author investigates the status of women in funeral rites. The women in the sacrifice were in a subordinate position, without the right of the chief priest and without the system of a single temple, which emphasized both the superiority of men and women and the distinction between men and women.
