English writing assessment is of great importance in the process of teaching for senior high school students.Effective writing assessment has an influence on the improvement of students' writing abilities in a direct or indirect way.However,due to the English teachers' heavy tasks,the assessment is not timely and the feedback is limited,so the traditional teaching effect of writing assessment is not ideal.Effective writing assessment plays an important part in reducing the burden of teachers and promote students' writing ability.Nowadays,the development of technology in education and the change of students' learning methods provide a more effective way and method for the assessment of writing.Among them,Pigai.org,as an online writing automatic assessment system,can help reduce the workload of teachers and enhance students'interest in writing.In view of the problems in the feedback of traditional high school English writing assessment,the author proposes an experimental study on the teaching of senior high school English writing based on Pigai.org.The purpose of this study is to explore whether the "assessment for learning in writing" based on Pigai.org can help reduce students' grammatical errors and improve the diversification of writing patterns,and what influence to the writing process.In this study,two parallel classes in grade one of No.18 Middle School,Hohhot were selected as experimental classes and control classes.The survey methods of test,questionnaire and student interview are adopted to obtain the research results objectively and effectively.During the implementation of the experiment,students used the function of submission and assessment of correction to correct grammar errors.At the same time,it combines peer evaluation and teacher evaluation to promote students to actively participate in rewriting,so as to reduce grammatical errors and improve the diversification of writing patterns.The comparison results of the two classes show that the method of "assessment for learning in writing" based on Pigai.org can help reduce grammatical errors and help teachers accurately grasp the types of errors in students' writing,so as to improve the accuracy of the assessment.Secondly,according to the statistics of the data of Pigai.org,the proportion of clause density in the composition of students in the experimental class is higher than that in the control class,which indicates that the "assessment for learning in writing" based on Pigai.org is helpful to improve the diversification of students'writing patterns.In addition,the writing performance of the experimental class is improved more than that of the control class,which indicates that the "assessment for learning in writing" based on Pigai.org can improve students' English writing store.
