A Study On The Lexicalization Of Three-syllable "One+measure Word+noun"

On the basis of summarizing and reflecting on the research results of lexicalization of"one+measure word+noun",this paper take 14 trisyllable of "one+measure word+noun" included in The Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th edition)as mainly research objects.By using theories of lexicalization and cognitive linguistics,and methods of combination of synchronic and diachronic,microcosmic and macroscopic,description and interpretation,this paper systematically studies on the lexicalization of"one+measure word+noun",the main contents are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,mainly expounds the reason and significance of this thesis,briefly combs the relevant research on the lexicalization of "one+measure word+noun" in academic circles,and introduces the research methods and corpus sources of this paper.The second chapter establishes the criterion of determining the three-syllable words of:one+measure word+noun" from three aspects:phonetic,semantic and syntactic.Phonetic aspects:(1)speech solidification;(2)language flow flat.semantic aspects:(1)forming a non-characteristic meaning;(2)containing additional meanings.syntactic aspects:(1)integrity of lexical;(2)variation of syntactic functions.The third chapter summarizes the different types of lexicalization of "one+measure word+noun" from the source and evolution mode.Firstly,the lexicalization of"one+measure word+noun" is divided into "lexicalization of phrase combination" and"lexicalization of morpheme adhesion",then "lexicalization of phrase combination" is divided into "rhetorical lexicalization" and "idiom lexicalization".And "rhetoric lexicalization" is divided into "figurative lexicalization" and "metonymy lexicalization".The fourth chapter mainly combs the lexicalization process of "one+measure word+noun".First of all,we select the representative cases of“???”?“???”and“???”to study the lexicalization of phrase combination of "one+measure word+noun",and we compare the similarities and differences of the adverb“???”and“???”.Then we separate inspect the“???”and“???”to study the lexicalization of morpheme adhesion of "one+measure word+noun".Finally,we conclude the features of lexicalization of "one+measure word+noun".Chapter five and chapter six respectively examine the motivation and mechanism of lexicalization of "one+measure word+noun".In terms of motivation,it includes prosodic constraints,semantic changes and syntactic positions from the internal level of the language,and it includes high-frequency usage,stylistic changes,social culture,and expressive needs from the external level of the language.In terms of mechanism,we mainly inspect four mechanisms of chunking,metaphor,metonymy and analogy.The seventh chapter concludes the characteristics of a tendency of lexicalized"one+measure word+noun" to choose "measure word" and "noun" from analyzing the semantic and grammatical characteristics of trisyllable words of "one+measure word+noun".
