Frequency Modulation Techniques Of Sound In Electronic Music Hear The Wind Sing

With the continuous development of science and technology,more and more composers began to combine music and technology.Electronic music as a new form of music provides composers with a broader imagination space and creative platform.With the continuous deepening of the research of electronic music,composers began to apply the technical means of electronic music in the traditional composition technology,so that the two organically combine and expand."Hear the Wind Sing" is the author's original electronic music work,inspired by "Zhongzi·Outer Part·Intentional" "Nothingness,the world is flat,and the moral quality is also",with the intention of expressing the life's tranquility and loneliness with wind,The spiritual quality of nothingness.The work uses Guzheng,bamboo flute and vocals as sound materials.Using the granularity of Guzheng,the sense of lines of bamboo flute and the layering of human voice,the sound material is modulated by the frequency modulation technique of the sound to produce a turbulent sound effect.It depicts a "world in the wind" with electronic music vocabulary related to the theme of the work.In this paper,through the creative practice of "Hear the Wind Sing",the frequency modulation of the sound is realized by frequency band processing in the frequency component domain,transposition processing in the frequency pitch domain,and delay processing in the frequency time domain.The frequency band processing of the frequency is used to form the color contrast of the sound,the transposition processing of the frequency is used to realize the longitudinal fusion of the sound,and the delay processing of the frequency is used to complete the dramatic effect of the sound.Through the author's creation and exploration,I hope to provide reference methods for electronic music creators.
