Analysis On The Creation And Performance Of Du Ningwu's "Five Ditties"

Since the piano was introduced into China over a hundred years ago,it has become the most influential and far-reaching musical instrument in Chinese music culture.The development of Chinese piano art should not only focus on piano performance,but also explore and promote the creation of Chinese piano works.Du Ningwu is an excellent piano player in contemporary China.He was born in Tianjin and moved to Guangzhou with his parents.He studied piano performance at Shanghai Music College and The Juilliard School of Music in the United States.He has high attainments in piano performance and music creation.His performances include not only piano solo concerts and piano ensemble concerts,but also chamber music concerts and cooperation with symphony orchestras.His performances have spread all over the world.In terms of music creation,he dabbles in solo works,ensemble works,adapted music,chamber music and other subjects.His works are fresh and beautiful in style,strong in singing,rich in skills and of practical value.This article takes Du Ningwu's early creation of "Five Ditties" as the research object,starting from the characteristics of the text,deeply excavates and displays the music content of the work,and makes a detailed analysis of the creation and performance,in order to fully grasp the image and characteristics of the work and be able to perform better.The paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter introduces Du Ningwu's playing experience and music creation,and summarizes his creation;The second chapter starts from the creative characteristics of "Five Ditties" and makes a deep analysis in the aspects of musical structure,mode and harmony,and musical texture.Finally,the third chapter combines its own performance practice with the theoretical analysis of the music text,interpreting the performance from the aspects of speed,singing performance and multi-tone texture performance,combining theory with practice,hoping to provide some reference value for later learners.
