Research On Ningwu Dialect Vocabulary

Chinese dialect is a valuable language resource in China.It is the product of history and culture in a certain region and a regional variant of Chinese.Ningwu County is located in the northwest of Shanxi Province,surrounded by mountains,is an important strategic military gateway in history,geographical location is extremely important.Ningwu dialect belongs to Shanxi Jinyu area Wutai piece,dialect vocabulary is very special.Under the guidance of the theories of Chinese lexicology and Chinese dialect vocabulary comparison,this paper adopts the methods of field investigation,literature data,plane description,comparative analysis and enumeration.This paper studies the 4061 words collected in Ningwu dialect,reveals the characteristics of syllables,structures,meanings and components of words in Ningwu dialect,and excavates its dialect vocabulary characteristics in order to enrich the study of Shanxi dialect vocabulary.Develop Ningwu characteristic culture,in order to protect Ningwu dialect to do meagre efforts.This paper consists of seven parts,including introduction and conclusion.The introduction part explains the basis of the topic selection,and combs the general situation of the research on the topic selection in this paper.The first chapter describes the phonological system of Ningwu dialect from three aspects: consonant,rhyme and tone.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of the vocabulary of Ningwu dialect in terms of syllables.The number of syllables is mainly disyllabic words,and there are some participle words in disyllabic words;the proportion of trisyllabic words is high,which reflects the oral characteristics of Ningwu dialect;the four-syllable words contain a large number of four-character case words,and the syllable symmetry has phonological beauty.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of word formation in Ningwu dialect from the aspect of structure.The overlapping type is rich in nouns,verbs,adjectives,quantifiers,and many other forms,such as AA,ABB,AAB,etc.,with rich characteristic affixes and strong word-formation ability,such as "EAO,sudden,Japanese,No",etc.The existence of inverse words,most of which are active in peopleundefineds daily communication;four-character case words mainly in combination,in which the majority of the two-parallel type,reflecting the pursuit of the beauty of equilibrium and symmetry.The fourth chapter sums up the characteristics of Ningwu dialect vocabulary from the aspect of word meaning.There are many synonyms and synonyms in Ningwu dialect vocabulary,which enrich peopleundefineds daily expression,and some affixes have additional color or expression function in the process of use.The meaning of the word is closely related to the regional culture,reflecting the local topography,food and other cultures;a large number of words are used in peopleundefineds daily communication,not as written language,oral color and emotional color.The fifth chapter analyzes the lexical components of Ningwu dialect.Lexical components include basic vocabulary,ancient words,self-made words and loanwords.The basic vocabulary is basically consistent with Putonghua,carrying on a large number of ancient words.Most of the new words are words created in the daily life of the local people,reflecting the local and topographical and dietary characteristics,as well as some Mongolian loanwords.The sixth chapter compares the words of Ningwu dialect and Hequ dialect,and compares the similarities and differences.It can be found that both of them have a high degree of similarity,they are mainly disyllabic words with the same characteristic affixes,and both have a large number of overlaps.But there are also some differences,different morphemes of word formation,the subjective understanding of the formation of words is different,the most important is the existence of different characteristics of vocabulary,diet vocabulary is the majority.The conclusion summarizes the content of the article and points out the innovation and deficiency of this article.
