On The Creation Of The King Of Western Chu Series Of Works

Now in China,mural painting has embarked on the road of revival.Artists have created many works with strong Chinese national characteristics,which have distinct national artistic characteristics and unique individual styles.The application location of these murals is also integrated into the overall design and planning of modern buildings from the original traditional interior decoration.The creation of mural works should be based on the traditional characteristic paintings of the nation,but the motive force of its creation cannot be separated from the fantastic ideas of artists,thus creating contemporary and innovative art works.The work "king of western chu" is composed of six works,with the theme of "xiang yu,king of western chu",the traditional hero image of the Chinese nation.Although the subject matter of xiang yu has been covered by many artists,it is relatively rare to show it in the form of many scene comics.Xiang yu's ups and downs life is shown in six scenes of "burn one's Bridges behind one's back","hongmen banquet","battle of pengcheng","the gap talks about peace","the song of the besieged" and "farewell my concubine".From the source of inspiration,the interpretation of the creation process and the perception of the creation,this paper develops three main parts: the selection of the creation materials,the layout and combination of the picture characters,the collocation of the overall picture atmosphere and tone,and the elaboration of the historical image of the protagonist.It conveys the author's thoughts and feelings directly.The author hopes that through this creation,the traditional historical and cultural stories will be shown by western painting techniques,so as to make his own contribution to the excellent cultural heritage of the Chinese nation.
