This article aims to provide reference for the problems of contemporary calligraphy innovation through the study of Yang Weizhen's art.Based on the development of calligraphy in the Yuan Dynasty,from the perspective of Yang Weizhen's life experience and artistic creation of poetry and prose,this paper synthesizes his calligraphy works,and uses the methods of Literature Research,field investigation and logical analysis to verify Yang Weizhen's artistic characteristics,find out the reason and method of his calligraphy innovation.In the early period of the Yuan Dynasty,the rulers paid more attention to Sinology for the political need,and the calligraphic style was prevailing in the court and field.In order to get rid of the depression of calligraphy at that time,Zhao Mengfu vigorously advocated the "retro" thought and became a representative figure in the calligraphy circles of the Yuan Dynasty,made a great contribution to the development of calligraphy in the Yuan Dynasty.However,Zhao's thought also made the calligraphy style of the Yuan Dynasty develop in a single direction,until the appearance of the recluse calligraphers at the end of the Yuan Dynasty,they found a new way to break through the fan fence of Zhao,and the typical character of Yang Weizhen,with his clumsy,indulgent and out-of-date style,he added a fresh atmosphere to the calligraphy circles of the Yuan Dynasty.This creative idea,which is different from the stable and elegant style of Zhao,has a far-reaching influence on the calligraphy creation of the Ming and Qing dynasties.Therefore,through his study,we can better understand the relationship between inheritance and innovation,and provide a new reference direction for contemporary calligraphy creation.The thesis is composed of five parts: the first chapter is the introduction of the thesis,this paper gives a brief introduction to the research aim,significance,current research situation at home and abroad,research summary at home and abroad,research contents and methods,etc..The second chapter is a brief introduction to Yang Weizhen's life,the third chapter mainly discusses the three aspects of the formation of Yang Weizhen's artistic style,which are the social influence factors of the formation of his artistic style,the Fourth Chapter is a study of the characteristics of Yang Weizhen's calligraphy style,from the perspective of his "double study ofcalligraphy",the representative works of "Zipiqi" and the form of "deviant",the fifth chapter is the inspiration of Yang Weizhen's calligraphy style to contemporary creation,this paper mainly studies Yang Weizhen's unique aesthetic,innovative spirit and how contemporary scholars and scholars draw lessons from and merge with it,and finally the conclusion of the article.Through these studies,we hope to change the stylized aesthetic thinking of contemporary calligraphy creation,have a deeper understanding of calligraphy innovation,and make contemporary Chinese calligraphy develop in a correct and diversified direction.
