Francesco Paolo Tosti(1846-1916)is a famous composer and vocal educator in modern Italy. He is one of the most representative figures in the romantic period. He wrote more than 300 songs in various languages in his life and made great contributions to Italian art songs.Born in Italy, but he spent most of his time in the British royal family to carry out his music career, and has a high reputation, loved by the British royal family.Because of his experience, his music works have diversified, beautiful melody and romantic color.Because the language of his works is easy to understand and there are many elements of life in the content,he is considered as a composer of saloon ballads in the 19 th century, and his music is also regarded as the repertoire of concerts at that time. The work selected in this paper is “primaver”,one of the most characteristic works of Tosti's repertoire,as the research object. From Tosti's life and composition style,we can further explore the artistic style and singing points of “primaver”.The main reason why I choose this song for research and analysis is that the melody of this song is beautiful and gentle, the sound span is not large, and the integration of melody and accompaniment is also very distinctive. After learning this song in depth,I think this song is particularly suitable for beginners. When I first started to learn music, the most error prone part was that when the range span was too large, the position could not be unified, and the perfect integration of emotional melody and accompaniment could not be achieved. This song can be used as an over song for beginners to make progress.Secondly, this song is also one of my favorite songs, and it has been used as a reserved track for the Graduation Concert.I hope that through the analysis and exploration of this work,we can have more understanding of this work, and also help you learn better.
