Research On Evolution And Protection Of Traditional Villages Based On CAS Theory

As a carrier of farming civilization,traditional villages are full of cultural heritage and historical memory,which is the focus that contemporary people need to protect and pay attention to.In the past three years proposed by the “Village Revitalization” strategy in 2017,the protection of traditional villages has increasingly become an important requirement for the scientific implementation of the strategy,and it is also an inherent need for the steady development of rural areas.As the national government attaches great importance to the protection of traditional villages,the development and evolution of traditional villages has become one of the hot issues in geographical research.The study on the system composition and its internal logic of traditional villages has important theoretical value and practical significance for promoting the transformation and development of traditional villages.From geography Angle,this paper based on the theory of complex adaptive system(CAS),set up a system from the global concept to explore the essence of the traditional village system,understand its complexity,adaptive characteristics,traditional villages in southwest hunan-Shanggantang ancient village,for example,has carried on the analysis for the comb and dynamic mechanism of evolution;Finally,the adaptive protection strategy is put forward based on the above to providereference for the protection of the village and other traditional villages.The main research work and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The system relations and characteristics of traditional villages are consistent with CAS theory,which is essentially a complex adaptive system.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a systematic concept when exploring its evolution process and rules and proposing protection strategies.The traditional village system is composed of multiple subsystems,including: ecological environment system,village subject system,social and cultural system and material support system.The four subsystems jointly promote the leap of the whole village system from chaos to order under the nonlinear action.(2)Using the historical development perspective,from the vertical perspective,from the establishment of the village of Shanggantang to the present,it divides the four historical stages of the mid-Tang-early Ming,the mid-Ming-Qing,the late Qing-Founding,and the Founding-present;From a perspective the changes of the four subsystems in each stage under different social environments are elaborated and analyzed.(3)Based on the system theory of CAS theory,analyze the power and mechanism of the evolution of Shanggantang village system.It is believed that the power of system evolution and development comes from the adaptability of internal subjects and the promotion of external environment,respectively.The system evolution mechanism is first andforemost the behavior mode of the adaptive subject at the micro level,which causes the overall system bifurcation,mutation,and emergence mechanism at the macro level,which together promote the evolution and evolution of the system.(4)Based on the analysis of the evolution mechanism and power of the Shanggantang village system,on the basis of reviewing the protection process,the corresponding protection strategies are proposed from the internal and external powers respectively: 1)Internal subject drive,including the improvement of the self-adaptation ability 2.Respect the adaptive growth laws and the living inheritance of the village culture;2)Moderate external intervention,including: The shaping of the composite ecosystem is a continuous basis,and the protection and construction of the physical space is a strong support.Under the guidance of the above protection strategies,the ultimate improvement of the self-adaptability of the system main body is finally achieved,and the appropriate role of the external role of the system promotes the goal of the sustainable development of the village.
