Research On Algorithm Discrimination Of Data Mining In The Age Of Big Data

Algorithmic discrimination has been a hot topic in the field of science and philosophy in recent years.There are two categories of research on algorithm discrimination: the recognition and governance in algorithm discrimination.The nature of the former one is the definition of algorithm discrimination,which is essentially a work of conceptual analysis.The nature of the latter one is the regulation problem of algorithmic discrimination,and the key point is the degree of governance.There are many studies on these two puzzles.Based on this,this paper carries out a series of sorting and extra work:For the recognition problem in algorithm discrimination,starting from the approach of "discrimination-algorithm-algorithm discrimination." It explores the marks and definition of algorithm discrimination and the steps of discrimination scene recognition.Specifically,it can be divided into five sub-tasks:(1)review the basic methods and weaknesses of discrimination recognition;(2)formulate the formal definition of discrimination based on Lippert-rasmussen's theory of discrimination;(3)resolve the ontological problem of algorithm discrimination by investigating the evolution of the concept of algorithm and clarify the meaning of the algorithm in the context of algorithm discrimination;(4)construct a formal definition of algorithm discrimination;(5)design the recognition steps of algorithm discrimination scenarios by clarifying the formal definition of "algorithm discrimination."For the governance problem in algorithmic discrimination,this thesis sorts out the existing literature from the dimensions of method and time series and justifies the processing governance scheme by constructs the phylogenetics path of algorithmic discrimination from Gadamer's hermeneutic theory.Specifically,it can be divided into four sub-tasks:(1)review the existing governance scheme from the dimension of method,and summarize its basic methods and weaknesses;(2)review the current governance scheme from the dimension of time,and summarize its basic methods and deficiencies;(3)construct the phylogenetics path of "algorithm prejudice-algorithm bias-algorithm discrimination" by Gadamer's hermeneutic theory;(4)demonstrate the reasonableness of the processing governance scheme according to the phylogenetics path.
