Fei Ming is a writer with many identities and labels, such as "Beijing school" and Buddhist researchers.Fei Ming was deeply influenced by Buddhism,so most of the predecessors studied Fei Ming in the context of Buddhism's influence on him. However, throughout Fei Ming's life,we can find that the style of his later works has changed dramatically. After the founding of the people's Republic of China,Fei Ming showed his enthusiasm for the new government, which was quite different from the political attitude of the same "Beijing school" writers. How do researchers understand the choice of Fei Ming? If we still stick to the thread of "Buddhism influences Fei Ming",it will be difficult to explain the changes in his later period. Therefore, many researchers attribute the reason to the influence of the times. However, such an explanation is too simple and hasty to be persuasive. Moreover,a writer's thought is not only influenced by a certain cultural form, but also the result of multi-cultural consciousness. For Fei Ming, the influence of Confucianism is no less than that of Buddhism.Buddhism pays attention to "coming out of the world",while Confucianism practices the value concept of "entering the world".These two thoughts affect Fei Ming at the same time, and play a role in different life stages of Fei Ming. Therefore, this paper attempts to re-examine and understand Fei Ming from the perspective of Confucianism, starting from the transformation of Fei Ming in the middle and later period.Through careful reading and analysis of Fei Ming's novels,it explores the impact of Confucianism on Fei Ming. The paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter starts with Fei Ming's early works, rereading the story of bamboo forest, bridge and other works to explore the early emergence of Fei Ming's early Confucianism. In such a turbulent age as the beginning of the 20 th century,Fei Ming kept alert to the modern civilization that constantly impacted the traditional Chinese culture. In the era when everyone had to knock down Kong's shop,he chose the local theme instead The traditional beauty of local people's feelings is explored, and a unique “Local Dream” is formed. The second chapter analyzes the contents of Fei Ming's two later novels “Biography of Mr.Mo Xuyou” and “After Mr.Mo Xuyou Took a Plane” and his prose in this period.Combined with the background that Fei Ming fled to his hometown Huangmei in order to avoid the war at that time,it analyzes the transformation of his Confucian thought in this period, from the cognitive level to the practical level, from selfcultivation, family unity and governance Practice at three levels. And in this period, the Buddhist influence of Fei Ming's thought began to weaken gradually, and Confucianism has become the dominant. The third chapter mainly describes the establishment and disintegration of Fei Ming's Confucian Utopia.Fei Ming was not only influenced by Confucianism, but also internalized Confucianism and made his own understanding and interpretation. He became a complete ideological system and established his own Confucian Utopia. He wanted to achieve such a Utopia in New China.During this period,Fei Ming's thought After struggling,he was frustrated by the reality. The fourth chapter summarizes the significance of Confucianism to Fei Ming.It expounds the significance of Confucianism to Fei Ming from three aspects of aesthetics, morality and aesthetics.More importantly,Confucianism has solved our misunderstanding of Fei Ming for many years, understood Fei Ming from more aspects, and expanded the dimension of our research on Fei Ming. The epilogue part takes an interesting title, starting from the name of Fei Ming,to summarize the life of Fei Ming's literature. From “Feng Wenbing” to Feng Wenbing,it is not simply a symbol of Fei Ming's return to “The Son of the Earth”.More importantly,Fei Ming transcends the original “Feng Wenbing”,goes from dream to reality. After the founding of the people's Republic of China,Feng Wenbing is more confident and determined. It also fully shows that Confucianism accompanied Fei Ming's life.Fei Ming is known as the early “Beijing School of Literature” writers, which advocates being far away from politics, free and poetic.Later generations often compared his attitude after the founding of the people's Republic with Shen Congwen, who was also a writer of Beijing School of Literature, and tried to deny the practice of Fei Ming.Indeed, compared with Shen Congwen's attitude of entanglement and attempted suicide,Fei Ming accepted it too quickly. However,Fei Ming is always an independent writer, and his thoughts are not simply classified as “Beijing School of Literature”.In Fei Ming's text, the author always read a sincere Fei Ming, revealing his strong personality color. The author also hopes that later researchers can make a more in-depth interpretation of Fei Ming from the perspective of Confucian culture, and can restore a real Fei Ming.
