At present,Confucius' benevolence thought is still the focus and hot spot in the field of Chinese philosophy research.Scholars pay more and more attention to expound and develop Confucius' benevolence thought from the characteristics of Chinese philosophy itself.How to rediscover the hidden and unique ideological resources in Chinese traditional philosophy has become the focus of attention of scholars today.Different from the western philosophy tradition of pursuing truth cognition,the traditional Chinese philosophy represented by Confucianism treats everything from the point of view of life practice,so the practical characteristics of Chinese philosophy devoted to solving practical problems are the unique features of Chinese philosophy."Benevolence" is the core of Confucius' thought,and its emergence has its unique social background and theoretical origin.The emergence of Confucius' benevolence thought is to rebuild a harmonious and stable social order and save the social reality of the collapse of rites and music,which is turbulent.Therefore,Confucius' benevolence must not only be a theory on the level of ideology,but also a methodological principle on the level of practice.Confucius gave different connotations to "benevolence" according to different subjects and fields of practice,such as love,filial piety,loyalty and forgiveness,self-discipline,first difficulty,then gain,etc.The fundamental characteristics of benevolence are based on various experiences and practices.According to the experience and practice of each moral subject,benevolence is specific,each moral subject faces different problems,and there are different ways to solve them The connotation of "benevolence" varies from person to person.At the same time,Confucius' benevolence thought is also a practice process of continuously realizing and expanding the scope of his own-elatives-masses-things based on the fundamental method of self-discipline,being able to draw near and draw analogy,and sticking to both sides.As far as the path and order of his practice are concerned,Confucius stressed that the practice of benevolence is based on the individual itself,starting from the filial piety of the family,and gradually expanding the practice from near to far.The scope of benevolence and Taoism is to extend oneself to others until it finally reaches the realm of benevolence.Analyzing Confucius' benevolence thoughts from the practical dimension can really promote and deepen the creative transformation and innovative development of Confucius'benevolence thoughts.At present,Confucius' benevolence thoughts and benevolence ideas can still be regarded as people's moral ideal,as the code of conduct to guide people's personal cultivation,community life and national governance,and in the specific life of repair,alignment,governance and peace in practice,it can be carried out and presented continuously,such as self practice of self-restraint and self-discipline,family practice of filial piety,social practice of being a man,international practice of harmony and ecological practice of everything in one.
