| In 2017,the revision of the English subject curriculum standard was completed.This revision actively responds to the party’s 19 th National Congress stressing the key role of enhance morality and foster talents in promoting quality-oriented education and linking it with the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination.Whether it is the adjustment of the training objectives in the curriculum or the specific changes in the standards of the subject curriculum,what’s more it emphasizes the important role of core literacy in cultivating students to form correct values,necessary characters and key abilities in quality-oriented education.It can be seen from that China’s educational goals have combined enhance morality and foster talents with core literacy to meet the talent needs in the new century.The textbook is the carrier of value orientation,knowledge and skill;what’s more,it is an important text for presenting the content of the course knowledge.The textbook is also the current education appeal to implement the teaching materials into the actual teaching achievements of various disciplines in order to promote the comprehensive and individualized development for students.Language and culture have been interdependent since ancient times.As a language subject,English is inseparable from the study of culture.The new curriculum standards for high school English has strengthen the learning requirements of students’ language and culture;what’s more it blends with the core literacy values.During the exploration of English teaching practice,the core literacy of the discipline is gradually derived from the curriculum construction guidance to meet the core literacy development requirements under the new curriculum standard.However,the existing practical problem is that in the process of transforming the subject quality of the teaching material into actual teaching activities,there is a problem about students’ cultural awareness in the weak education,and the educators have not been able to combine core literacy with the curriculum effectively.In view of the above problems,this study will focus on the curriculum construction of the core literacy under the English subjects,with the cultural character literacy as the research entrance point,combined with the first reading chapter of each unit in the PEP version of the high school English textbook(Compulsory 1-5).Objects,around "What is the connotation of cultural character literacy under the new curriculum standards? How does the reading chapter content reflect the cultural character literacy? How can we reform and improve the reading teaching strategy at this stage to meet the training objectives of the new curriculum standards English culture and cultural character?" These three core issues are unfolded,and the value orientations of the cultural character literacy embodied in the textbooks,existing problems and causes are analyzed,and then the multi-faceted feasibility path for the cultural literacy realization mechanism of high school English textbooks is given.Regarding the first part,"What kind of connotation of cultural character literacy under the new curriculum standards",mainly using the literature method as an auxiliary medium,taking into account the new curriculum standard concept and cultural perspective,from the perspective of intercultural communication,from the standpoint of cultivating world citizens,The meaning of the cultural character literacy under the study of textbooks in this paper is divided.On the basis of the relevant research on the cultural character literacy,the textbook analysis of the humanities version of the high school English textbooks from the whole and the theme is presented in a clear and complete way to reveal the present situation of the cultural character literacy in the subject text reading.With the question,it is of great practical significance to actively respond to the implementation of the new curriculum standards and to guide the curriculum concept of English textbooks in line with the discipline quality.As a qualitative study based on the dimension of cultural character literacy under the textbook and subject quality,this thesis mainly adopts the literature method and text analysis method.In the study,the two methods became mutual tools,making the study more meaningful.This thesis includes two parts: introduction and main search part.The introduction part mainly introduces the origin of research questions,literature review,research ideas,research significance and research methods,and defines related concepts involved in this paper.The body part is mainly composed of four chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the cultural character literacy value of high school English reading teaching.The second chapter is based on the dimension of cultural character literacy in the first chapter,and the cultural character of the text reading from the two parts of the whole and the theme.Characterization and content analysis,combined with the new curriculum concept and English curriculum training objectives to explore the characteristics and problems of the existing cultural character literacy in the textbook;The third chapter is from the three aspects of teaching materials,teaching and academic evaluation.English textbooks propose how to make cultural character literacy throughout the entire English curriculum learning mechanism.The fourth chapter is mainly the conclusions and research reflections of this research.The research conclusions of this thesis mainly include the following aspects: First,the content of high school English reading text basically covers the representation of cultural character.Secondly,the formation of high school English reading text is not comprehensive enough to cultivate students’ cultural character literacy,and it presents a tendency to lean towards the target language culture.Third,high school English In the reading text,the presentation of the cultural character literacy of students is slightly single.In view of the research conclusions 2 and 3,this paper proposes to cultivate students’ cultural character literacy as the fundamental starting point,relying on the text content of high school English reading textbooks,improving the teaching process,improving the post-school academic evaluation mechanism,and implementing the cultural characteristics of English subjects under the new curriculum standards.Literacy training,put forward the corresponding high school English reading teaching strategy. |
